I dont know how to find any other information other than that. Dual head monitor with compiz works fine, though if in dual monitor mode the screen resolution isn’t equal to both monitor the one with bigger resolution gets no refresh on the size difference at the desktop level, applications refresh ok in the same area.

It didn’t come up after the first restart, so I switched to the text terminal and restarted it again – then it worked. Videos seem to play as well as they always have. Disabling Compiz fixes this. As a paying Dell Ubuntu customer I did not expect to waste such amount of time for different workarounds.
Performance improves, but the machine hangs roughly once every two hours with Compiz and Cube enabled. Metacity performance is greatly enhanced. In comparison to jaunty’s intel driver, fps from glxgears I ubunty it’s not a benchmark drop to about half the amount – anyway that’s not relevant for me.
