HP DC7900 can I use a dual screen?

Posted 19 January – Yes it is possible to by a USB external graphics card. Moved from Win 7 to Internal Hardware – Hamluis. No one I know of has been able to get audio out of the display port on the dc model series, so I would have to say that audio out of the display port is not supported.

I only needed the W7 audio driver and amt driver. I have used one previously to add a 3rd screen to my setup.

The device you linked above is an adapter ddisplayport will work, but you will need to attach a cable to it.
